Job Summary:
The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and manually wash items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including washing and sanitizing countertops, floors, and walls.
• Sort and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated storage areas.
• Monitor inventory of dishwashing supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recycling in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety procedures and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the dishwashing station at the beginning and end of shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stretch, and reach as necessary to clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
