Job Summary
Piper Health Sciences is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to support the development of immunology-based assays. The ideal candidate will have experience in lab environments and proficiency in various laboratory techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing on raw materials, in-product, and finished products
- Conduct ELISA assays, western blots, and cell culture activities to support product development
- Diagnose minor issues with QC testing assays
- Prepare buffers and reagents for testing
- FOLLOW STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOPs) AND MAINTAIN DETAILED RECORDS OF EXPERIMENTS
Qualifications
- 0-4 years of experience in a lab environment
- Experience with Immunoassays, ELISA, Western Blot, Cell Base Assays, DNA/RNA extraction, and/or Buffer & Media Prep
- Associate degree with 1+ years of experience in a related field or Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, etc.)
Compensation
- Rate Range: $17 - $20 Per Hour depending on experience
