Piper Companies is seeking a Malware Security Engineer to support a leading Global Security Software Company.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Malware Security Engineer to conduct and assist with reverse engineering, security assessments, and code reviews. The goal of this work is to develop static and dynamic signatures for mobile code that detects application user threats including malware and PUPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer Android SDKs to assess risk, user harm, and sensitive data collection
• Conduct static and dynamic analysis
• Provide an assessment and evidence to support, identify tooling and process improvement
• Improve and develop scaled detection rules

Requirements

• Programming skills in Java/Kotlin, Scripting, Javascript, Encode/Decode, encryption and decryption
• Android fundamentals knowledge including permissions, Manifest, Entry points, Broadcast receivers, exported activities, services, subclasses, Dalvik/ART Virtual machine

What We Offer

• Competitive salary: $125,000 - $165,000
