Piper Companies is seeking a highly skilled Business Project Manager to lead projects and teams within our small life insurance company in Durham, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities across the organization to ensure successful business outcomes.
- Oversee all aspects of the end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, definition, design, execution, and delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and key deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals, providing direction, guidance, and support to team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) a plus.
- Able to work on-site 3 days per week in Durham, NC.
