Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Thermal Engineer for a Semiconductor Manufacturing company based in California.

The Senior Thermal Engineer will work on-site five days per week in Saratoga, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead thermal design and analysis for electronic appliances.
• Utilize tools such as Icepak, FloTHERM, and SmartCFD.
• Design and analyze high power SOC liquid cooling systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize thermal performance.
• Document and present thermal analysis results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in thermal engineering.
• Expertise in liquid cooling systems.
• Three to five years of experience with thermal design tools.
• Experience with high power SOC liquid cooling design, including open and closed loop systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
