DoorDash is looking for an experienced analyst to join our People Intelligence team. You will be responsible for enabling data-driven insights to develop our global workforce strategy. You will help drive and scale analytics initiatives across a range of business areas with a focus on company-wide workforce strategy, conducting research and building tools to help support our growing employee population and global presence. You will lead impactful projects working within a team of analysts and engineers to research and test new ideas, develop models and analytics tools, and drive recommendations for our leaders and decision-makers. Lead new analytics projects to build and improve the tools and use of data to inform people-related decisions for DoorDashBuild new solutions and invent new approaches to big, ambiguous, critical problemsCultivate relationships with leaders across the company to understand people needsBuild knowledge and insights through bespoke research on organizational design, location strategy, and talent pipeline and recruitment optimizationDrive direct impact in critical areas, from workforce strategy to global people analyticsContinue upskilling yourself and the team, keeping up with best practices and state-of-the-art technologyWe’re excited about you because…

You have 5+ years of experience in a data analyst, data scientist, business intelligence analyst, research analyst, or similar roleYou have a Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (statistics, economics, quantitative social science, or similar), or equivalent relevant experienceYou have strong knowledge of data modeling, econometrics, and forecasting techniquesYou are an expert in SQL and data manipulation, and have experience with data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau, Sigma, or a similar tool)You have a solid understanding of statistical analysis (e.g. linear regressions, A/B testing), and familiarity with how to apply these methods to solve people analytics problemsYou have experience with programming for statistics and data analytics (e.g., Python, R)You have experience using GitHub or other version control softwareYou have a track record of independently managing projectsYou have experience crafting written analyses and findings, as well as presenting to senior / executive audiencesYou are great at developing relationships with all partners, and working with all levels of an organization
