Travel Nurse Opportunity - Medical Surgical in Quinter, Kansas

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Nurse to join our team in a critical access hospital (CAH) setting in Quinter, Kansas. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in a rural healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Charge RN on the day shift in the Medical Surgical unit
- Provide high-quality patient care in both Medical Surgical and Emergency Room settings
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, and implement patient care strategies
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the CPSI-Evident EMR system
- Adapt quickly to the unique challenges of a small rural CAH environment

Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in both Medical Surgical and Emergency Room settings
- Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital is mandatory
- Proficiency with CPSI-Evident EMR system
- BLS/CPR certification (additional certifications may be required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
