Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Adult IP Admission Unit team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process to ensure safe and effective care.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive work environment and exceptional patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations.
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records, adhering to Hospitals standards.
- Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights, documenting and communicating clinical findings.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, and attending in-services, meetings, and workshops.
- Foster a culture of patient safety, identifying and reporting potential or actual concerns, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement state.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification within 30 days.
- Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate degree.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency (optional).
Physical Demands:
The registered nurse will be required to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people, exceeding those for Medium Work physical demands.
Working Conditions:
The registered nurse will work in an environment that requires personal protective equipment (PPE) due to chemical and bio-hazardous materials.
Compensation:
Hourly wage range: $32.84-$47.33.
Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement available
Receive 17% weekday nights, 26% weekend nights and 15% weekend day shift differentials
