Job Title: Registered Nurse
Compensation Package:
- Base Hourly Rate: $33.07 - $46.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign and supervise nursing personnel to provide patient care, utilizing independent judgment to ensure adequate staffing and efficient workflow.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, incorporating age-specific considerations for patients of all ages.
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to staff members, promoting a positive work environment and quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care activities, adhering to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, patients, families, and other departments to facilitate communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, Magnet Recognition, recruitment and retention of staff, and patient and employee satisfaction efforts.
- Enhance professional growth and development through ongoing education, training, and workshops.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience;
- RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement;
- 2 years of directly related experience;
- CPR/BLS certification within 30 days.
Work Environment:
- Heavy physical demands, exerting up to 100 pounds occasionally;
- Subject to hazardous materials and biohazardous materials requiring personal protective equipment;
- Annual contract and performance appraisal.
