Tearoom by Calmplex is a space where people can enjoy carefully sourced teas in a relaxed setting. Inspired by East Asian tea culture, we focus on high-quality teas without the formality—just a welcoming place to slow down and enjoy.

We’re looking for a part-time server, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. Experience in hospitality is a plus, but we’re more interested in someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating a good experience for guests.

About Calmplex

Calmplex is a space that brings together a ceramic studio, a tearoom, a menswear store, and a Japanese restaurant in one location, creating a unique blend of craftsmanship, culture, and hospitality.

Studio Calmplex is our ceramic studio, offering classes and workshops that encourage creativity and hands-on learning. The tearoom serves a selection of quality teas in a welcoming environment, while BASE focuses on menswear and lifestyle goods. HORI, operated by HAND Hospitality, is a referral-only Japanese restaurant that provides an intimate dining experience with a focus on craftsmanship and seasonal ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve tea with care and efficiency

• Maintain a clean and organized service area

• Assist with daily operations, including prep and inventory

• Ensure a welcoming experience for guests

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly and professional attitude

• Interest in tea and a willingness to learn

• Ability to work efficiently in a small team

• Prior hospitality experience preferred but not required

• Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends
