Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Defense Paralegal to join our well-established law firm in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in personal injury defense, with the ability to manage a large caseload and provide exceptional support to our attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assistance to attorneys throughout all stages of personal injury defense cases

  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery responses

  • Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and client meetings

  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring deadlines are met

  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for case strategy

  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other entities

  • Communicate regularly with clients, witnesses, insurance companies, and medical providers

  • Manage discovery processes and document production

  • Review, summarize, and organize medical records and other case evidence

  • Support trial preparation and attend trials as necessary

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Defense Paralegal

  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury defense practices, procedures, and regulations

  • Familiarity with Florida\u2019s legal rules and regulations

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Paralegal certification is a plus, but not required
