We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Defense Paralegal to join our well-established law firm in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in personal injury defense, with the ability to manage a large caseload and provide exceptional support to our attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive assistance to attorneys throughout all stages of personal injury defense cases
Draft and prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and client meetings
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring deadlines are met
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for case strategy
Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other entities
Communicate regularly with clients, witnesses, insurance companies, and medical providers
Manage discovery processes and document production
Review, summarize, and organize medical records and other case evidence
Support trial preparation and attend trials as necessary
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Defense Paralegal
In-depth knowledge of personal injury defense practices, procedures, and regulations
Familiarity with Florida\u2019s legal rules and regulations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Paralegal certification is a plus, but not required
