Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a Guest Services Representative to provide first-class customer service and administrative support. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, this role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate guest and conference services seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Manage the main telephone switchboard , routing calls efficiently and handling inquiries.
- Coordinate with Conference Services to provide immediate support for meetings, including catering, technology, and room setup needs.
- Register visitors in the building security system , monitor access, and ensure a secure office environment.
- Handle walk-up requests at the Conference Center desk, assisting both internal and external clients.
- Track and maintain visitor badge inventory and arrange car service reservations for guests.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
About You: - High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 3 years of related experience preferred.
- Experience in a law firm or hotel setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office (reservation software experience a plus).
- Exceptional customer service skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills .
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work overtime if needed .
Position Details: - Start Date: February 28 - March 13 (includes cross-training on Feb 28, 10:40 AM - 4 PM)
- Schedule: 35-hour work week, 8 AM - 4 PM
- Pay: $21-$22/hour
- Location: On-site in Washington, DC
