POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overall operational and management oversight for the facility cardiovascular service line.
Responsibilities- Direct oversite of Hillcrest Hospital South’s cardiovascular strategy as it relates to hospital and outpatient operations
- Perform direct supervision of assigned direct reports and activities
- Monitor and assume responsibility for patient flow and staff communication with patients between service areas
- Continually monitor patient satisfaction and actively seeks ways to improve patient/customer experience
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, financial performance, and Ardent Health policies
- Develop and implement annual strategic plan that will contribute to the goals and financial success of the organization
- Plans and develops annual budgets, long and short-term goals and objectives for the oncology service line.
- Create and Maintain physician relations for purposes of growing and maintain business
- Actively survey Cardiology industry movement/trends and the impact of the direction of the service line
- Serve as a liaison between Administration and Physicians. Communicating the needs, goals and strategies of the organization
- Establish effective strategies for service line with the goal of increasing market share
- Collaborate with Marketing in efforts to increase market share through marketing material
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or Healthcare administration (MHA) preferred
- Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
- Specialty certification in Executive Nursing Practice preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in cardiovascular leadership and operations roles within a healthcare system.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with proven track record of building and coaching successful teams.

- A track record of successfully managing physician relationships, finding common ground, and building commitment around a shared agenda with physician and leadership
- A strong knowledge of, and experience with budgeting, financial management, and provider billing
