UPMC Williamsport is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Technologist/Advanced Diagnostic Technologist! This role will work dayshift, typically, 7:30a through 4p. This includes rotating weekends and holidays. Rotating on-call responsibility includes both weekdays and weekends Whether you're an experienced imaging professional or a new graduate eager to gain experience, this could be your opportunity!

Final candidates will be selected for a job title within the career ladder that reflects the level of education, experience, and manager discretion at the time of offer.
This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 with a two-year work commitment.
Performs imaging procedures at an advanced level not requiring constant supervision. Competently performs a variety of advanced technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.Responsibilities:
Performs or assists Clinical Specialists in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
Performs all job responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I.
Demonstrates competency of specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyzes data promptly. Performs electrocardiograms and lab draw functions if applicable.
Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care as defined by the most up-to-date protocols and procedures.
Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with the lead and management team.
Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.
Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development.
Assist with the training of staff and student technologists.
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. 2 years Diagnostic experience required. Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:ARRT certified in Radiography. CPR or BLS Required.
