Position Summary
The University of New Mexico Department of Anesthesiology has a position available at the Assistant level for an Anesthesiologist who will be based at UNMH and/or UNM SRMC. Research opportunities are available. Preference will be given to applicants with resident teaching, supervisory, and patient care experience.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or within three years of residency and active in the certification process
• Must hold an unrestricted medical license
• Must hold a MD or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Resident teaching experience
• A demonstrated commitment todiversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working withbroadly diverse communities.
