District: Genesee Intermediate School District The para-educator is responsible for assisting the program instructor in the delivery of instruction, reinforcement of instruction and the remediation of students in the area of responsibility. The para-educator may be assigned to one classroom or to a variety of assignments depending on the needs of students. Para educators report to the assigned classroom instructor.
AVAILABLE : One (1) position available; Up to 21 hours per week (Academic Calendar)
SALARY : $ 16.69 - $23.87 per hour. Genesee Intermediate Educational Support Personnel Association (GIESPA)
BENEFITS: Employees working less than full-time shall receive insurance coverage in proportion to time worked.
QUALIFICATIONS : Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in related field, preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2000 recent and relevant work hours in program related within the past six years preferred. Prior experience working with high school students is desirable.
