District: Genesee Intermediate School District The Teacher of the Severely Cognitively Impaired is responsible for the instructional program and implementation of activities for the students in the assigned classroom. Responsible for the coordination of the activities of the assigned instructional/teacher aide and support staff providing services for students in the assigned area.
AVAILABLE : One (1) Full-Time position available; 35 hours per week. 206 days per year (Balanced calendar).
SALARY : Certificated Salary Schedule
Genesee Intermediate Education Association. (GIEA)

QUALIFICATIONS : Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Valid Michigan teacher's certificate required with approval in cognitive impairment.
Experience:
Demonstrated successful student teaching experience is required; one to two years of experience preferred.
