Michelin starred Los Angeles restaurant group is seeking an experienced General Manager for one of their acclaimed concepts! This chef-owned, European-style restaurant features both a la carte or coursed menu options. Candidates must have a high-level knowledge of food and wine along with experience ordering, managing inventory and wine costs. A true passion with the ability to teach and develop a team is very important.
General Manager Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity

- Continually strive to educate and develop of staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service
- Ensure stellar guest experience in all areas

- Oversee and positively impact all areas of the business including: sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements
General Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years AGM/GM experience or 2+ years Director level experience in a full-service, upscale, chef-driven restaurant environment
- The ideal person will be in touch with the restaurant scene in Los Angeles and excited to continue to grow and change with the times

Compensation Package:
- Base Salary in the $100-125k range DOE
