Job Description

1. Gather business requirements, elicit technical requirements, prepare report specifications.
2. Design and develop MSTR reports and integration with enterprise portals, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by the business users, alerts via email and mobiles based on predefined events.
3. Working knowledge of some RDBMS.
4. Identify and design common functionality.
5. Unit and integration test the developed components.
6. Promote components across dev, test, and production environments.
7. Provide UAT and implementation support.

Requirements

1. 6-7 years of experience in MicroStrategy with hands-on development/maintenance.
2. Experience in MicroStrategy 9.3, knowledge on enterprise portal integration, mobile integration, and alerts based on predefined events.
3. Good conceptual knowledge and experience in metadata creation, report specifications, integration test planning & testing, unit test planning & testing, UAT & implementation support.
4. Strong knowledge of quality processes (SDLC, Review, Test, Configuration Management, Release Management, Defect Prevention).
5. Good communication skills and comfortable interacting directly with clients.
6. Ability to interpret data models and usage of data modeling tools (ERWIN, etc.).
7. Knowledge of new features of the product and performance tuning.
8. Strong data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications

6-7 years of experience in MicroStrategy with hands-on development/maintenance.
