We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Administrator to assist with the administration and support of Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Agents. In this role, you will help end-users create reports, dashboards, apps, and flows, and provide troubleshooting and support for complex issues. You will also manage the Power Platform environments, ensuring optimal performance and governance adherence while guiding citizen developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Power Platform Administration & Support:
Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Power Platform applications, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Agents, and Dataverse. - Escalated Support Handling:
Handle escalated support tickets from Level 1 and 2 support, performing in-depth diagnostics to identify and resolve complex issues. - Monitor and Manage:
Monitor and manage Power Platform environments to ensure optimal performance and proactively plan for capacity needs. - Guidance for Citizen Developers:
Provide guidance and support to citizen developers, helping them effectively use Power Platform tools and adhere to governance policies. - Object Management:
Maintain an inventory of objects in Power Platform, including identifying object owners and developers. - Architecture Understanding:
Ensure that objects are created in the appropriate environments and capacities by understanding Power Platform architecture.
Required Qualifications:
- Power BI Expertise:
Knowledge of Power BI reports, dashboards, and connections to data sources. Ability to assist report developers with configuration and connecting to data sources via data gateway. Ability to create data sources and delegate management to owning developers. Proficiency in monitoring premium capacity usage and balancing load as needed. - Power Apps and Power Automate Knowledge:
Understanding of premium connections and Dataverse. Understanding of Power Platform environments and creating apps in the appropriate locations. Knowledge of Power Apps licensing and User Roles within Power Platform. Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on Power Platform tools and applications. - Environment & Performance Management:
Ability to manage Power Platform environments and ensure optimal performance. - Governance & Compliance:
Understanding of governance policies for Power Platform and the ability to guide users to comply with them.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting Power Platform tools within a large-scale organization.
- Familiarity with advanced features of Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Experience in creating and managing Dataverse environments.
Certifications (if any):
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Power BI or Power Apps Specialist (Preferred)
