Job Description

We are seeking a Lead - II Software Testing professional to oversee and manage test activities within a team, ensuring test coverage, quality deliverables, and adherence to engineering practices. The role involves test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration with DevOps teams to implement continuous testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and organize testing processes based on project requirements.

• Develop test estimates, schedules, and ensure test coverage.

• Produce test results, defect reports, test logs, and other documentation as evidence for testing.

• Publish root cause analysis (RCA) reports and implement preventive measures.

• Ensure quality of deliverables and report project metrics and status.

• Enforce adherence to engineering practices, processes, and standards.

• Contribute to test automation and performance testing.

• Work with DevOps teams to understand testing frameworks and implement continuous testing.

• Manage test environments and test data provisioning.

• Participate in test reviews, walkthroughs, and obtain stakeholder sign-off.

• Conduct risk analysis and ensure business process coverage in testing.

• Identify testing scope, prepare estimates, and track project progress.

• Conduct defect root cause analysis and implement mitigation strategies.

• Define and ensure adherence to KPIs for client engagement.

• Handle stakeholder governance calls and represent team issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in software testing, test management, and quality assurance.

• Expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management.

• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.

• Proficiency in test design techniques, methodologies, and estimation techniques.

• Experience in identifying test scope, test data, and test environment specifications.

• Strong understanding of risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.

• Ability to track and report test progress and take corrective measures as needed.

• Experience with RCA techniques and defect trend analysis.

• Knowledge of testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps and continuous testing practices.

• Hands-on experience with performance testing.

• Understanding of test automation strategies and frameworks.
