The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) has a Staff Services Manager I Specialist opening in the Operations Section within the Refugee Programs Bureau. This position is responsible for managing developing data collection, data analysis of program performance, and program evaluation. If you have experience working with databases and datasets and enjoy data analytics and data visualization, then this is the opportunity for you!
This work involves working with internal multi-functional teams, business partners, and external program stakeholders to develop a data collection and reporting framework. The day-to-day activities include developing data documentation, data quality assurance, developing data modeling, and using the latest analytical tools to generate insight into program implementation and the efficacy of assistance and services, such as housing, cash aid, employment and supportive services, provided to refugee communities across California counties.

The Operations Section provides support to the program through the development and implementation of statewide guidance, quality assurance programming, training curriculum, and engagement of county and refugee resettlement partners, non-profit agencies, and community service providers throughout the state.
