SESLOC Credit Union is seeking an Information Security Officer to provide secure, technologically advanced financial services to our members by leading the credit union's efforts to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to convey complex technical information to other internal stakeholders. He/she will design, build, enhance, and maintain all aspects of the credit union's information security program. Responsibilities include assessing and mitigating risk, responding to newly emerging threats, recommending appropriate safeguards, monitoring information systems, and educating staff.

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in the area(s) of Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, and/or related emphasis. Also required is a minimum of 5-10 years of similar and progressively responsible experience. At least one relevant, advanced information security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar) is required. Experience working with vulnerability scanning and security monitoring tools is required. Experience in a highly regulated industry such as financial services or health care is strongly preferred.
