We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate possesses strong legal research and administrative skills with a focus on business litigation, transaction, and contract law. This role requires an individual who has a knowledge of the VA court system and is proficient in researching and following the methods and procedures used in Virginia's various circuit courts. The Paralegal will work 20 hours/week, remotely, with an occasional face-to-face meeting at the firm's office in Lynchburg, VA. Duties

Perform document review to ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.Prepare summaries of findings from research and interviews for attorney review.Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for case management.Stay updated on changes in business law and other relevant legal areas. Qualifications

5 years' experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation, especially as regards the Virginia circuit court systems.Proficiency in legal research techniques and tools.Familiarity with business law and litigation is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.A degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is required.\Join our team and contribute to impactful legal work while advancing your career in the field of law!
