Base pay range
$105,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

SUMMARY:
This position provides a high level of technology support to the organization by developing and implementing IT initiatives and plans that improve the organization's effectiveness. This position oversees records management, project management, business analysis and external vendor services. Utilizes technology in new and creative ways as well as ensuring the continuous delivery and operation of all IT systems. Works with leadership to provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the IT systems. Coordinates the integration of data, information systems and supports new system development. Integrates computers and IT into the business functions for ongoing secure operations, and for the planning and implementation of the organization’s strategies. Performs traditional core IT application maintenance, technical support, telecommunications and network and systems administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in IT strategic planning and roadmap, program development, technology evaluation and alignment of technology with business goals. Maintain company infrastructure to support and guide individual departments in computing and information technology efforts.
- Assess new computing technologies including but not limited to the updates to the Office 365 environment to determine potential value for the organization. Identify emerging technologies to be integrated and introduced within the organization. Coordinate with company leaders on the training and rollout of these technologies.
- Maintain operating policies and approaches for computing and technology upgrades as appropriate with evolving laws and regulations pertinent to the services PayTech offers.
- Collaborate with company leaders to advance and develop ‘train the trainer’ processes for the constant enhancements related to Office 365 products as well as other current/future software.
- Ensure the security of the information systems, communication lines and equipment.
- Develop, review and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
- Manage and monitor work performance of the IT department including evaluating program/work objectives and effectiveness, establishing broad organizational goals and realigning work and staffing assignments for the department and approve the hiring, disciplinary, and pay decisions.
- Oversee and/or approve final decisions regarding policy development and implementation.
- This position often involves interaction with individuals inside and outside the organization exercising management skills, high levels of negotiation, and the ability to reach consensus on complex issues to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Requires advanced skills and knowledge in approaches and systems, which affect the design and implementation of major programs, solutions for highly complex issues, and/or processes organizationally.
- Responsible for modifying or proposing budget for review with supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Operations and Support
- Oversee / perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Oversee / perform repairs and recovery from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
- Oversee / perform configuration of laptops and computer workstations for new staff and upgrades.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Maintenance
- Oversee / perform OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
- Oversee / perform review of helpdesk tickets and network traffic.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline desired. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement. At least 10 years’ experience in core IT (application development, enterprise applications, technical support, telecommunications and network and systems administration), oversee archives and records management, project management, business analysis and external vendor services.
Demonstrated understanding of key components of information technology methodology. Knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies in use; system administration, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong problem-solving skills. Strong management experience with ability to handle high stress situations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Able to work more than 40 hours per week. Exerting up to 50 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; this position must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
