Job Description

• Prepare and serve food to customers.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food production.
• Ensure accurate labeling and rotation of prepared foods.
• Meet quality guidelines for prepared foods.
• Document waste and spoilage.
• Use correct measuring devices and follow recipes.
• Help customers understand product differences.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrive on time and be ready to work.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer phones promptly.
• Maximize sales potential through proper procedures.
• Follow established procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Report safety hazards immediately.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit, 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit, >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• May require use of ladders.
