What we are looking for:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our litigation team. Experience in litigation, estate planning, trust, and/or probate law is preferred but not required . Ultimately, we are looking for a skilled candidate to join our collaborative work environment, who is enthusiastic about contributing to the continued success of our firm.


Qualifications:

·        Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience

·        Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and effective research techniques

·        Well-versed in maintaining attorney-client relationships, ethical obligations and handling of sensitive information

·        Effective note-taking and proactive in asking clarifying questions

·        Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

·        Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments

·         Exemplifies professionalism with clients, attorneys and staff

·         Proficient in MS Suite, Teams, Zoom and Adobe

·         Working knowledge of standard office equipment

·         E-filing, service with Court staff, County offices, and process vendors is preferred

·         Demonstrates ability to follow policies, procedures and contribute to a positive work environment


Responsibilities:

·        Assist litigation attorneys in all phases of the litigation process

·        Drafting and E-filing

·        Case management

·        Maintain and organize case files

·        Communicate, coordinate and schedule with clients, attorneys, Court personnel, and third parties

·        Proactively maintain attorney’s calendar

·        General support of attorneys and paralegal team in managing multiple cases
