Akkodis is seeking a PI Support Engineer for a 6+month contract with a client.
Position - PI Support Engineer
Work location: Oklahoma City (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $58-68/hr (The Rate may be negotiable based on experience, Education, Geographic Location, and other factors.)
Must-have skills for this role: OSISoft PI / AVEVA PI
Job description:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for PI Data Archive and Asset Framework (AF) to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve PI System-related issues, including data archiving, data collection, and data access.
- Manage and monitor the health of PI Data Archive, ensuring high availability and efficient data flow.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure data is accurately integrated with other business systems through the RDBMS interface and SQL.
- Support configuration and troubleshooting of PI Interfaces and Connectors.
- Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new PI System features.
- Provide user support and guidance for PI System users in troubleshooting and operational issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for PI System configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
- Perform regular health checks and performance tuning for the PI System.
Must-Have Skills:
- Extensive experience with PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF), and PI System architecture.
- Solid knowledge of RDBMS interface and SQL, including query development and performance optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve PI System-related issues.
- Experience working with PI System security, configuration, and data integrity.
