Environment: Primarily office-based; frequent presence in manufacturing and training environments required.
Position Summary:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of employee training compliance, training documentation, and skills development programs. This role will ensure training processes are standardized, well-documented, and aligned with ISO, OSHA, EPA, and CBA requirements. The Training Coordinator will also serve as the primary administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring training completion is properly tracked and auditable.
Key Responsibilities:
- LMS Administration & Training Compliance
- Maintain training records and ensure 100% alignment of job roles with defined training paths in the LMS.
- Ensure training compliance tracking meets ISO and CBA requirements.
- Generate reports on training completion rates, compliance metrics, and progression efficiency.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted tracking tools to streamline compliance monitoring.
- Training Program Development & Coordination
- Standardize and update training requirements across all departments.
- Develop and oversee onboarding, safety, compliance, and technical training programs.
- Work with subject matter experts to design structured training materials.
- Oversee scheduling and coordination of training sessions.
- Employee Skill Development & Progression Tracking
- Implement a structured skills assessment process for operator progression.
- Track and document training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Support cross-functional training initiatives and leadership development programs.
- Continuous Improvement & AI Integration
- Identify and implement AI-assisted tools to improve training efficiency.
- Develop tracking mechanisms for training effectiveness and employee performance.
- Ensure alignment of training goals with company objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years experience in training coordination, LMS administration, and compliance tracking (manufacturing experience preferred).
- Familiarity with regulatory training requirements (ISO, OSHA, EPA).
- Proficiency in LMS administration and AI-assisted training platforms.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
Performance Expectations:
- 95% compliance rate in required training completions.
- 100% job role alignment with LMS-defined training paths.
- Zero non-conformances related to training in ISO/CBA audits.
- 80% of eligible CBA employees complete Skills Assessments on schedule.
- AI-assisted tracking fully integrated by Q3 2025.
