Job Title: Member Experience Specialist (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Chicago, IL (River North)
Workplace: Onsite (3 days/week for the first 2–3 months, including Wednesdays)
Pay Rate: $20–$21/hour
About Us:
Our client is dedicated to providing exceptional service to their members, and we are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Member Experience Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This position will play a key role in enhancing their members' experience through effective communication, problem-solving, and support across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phone Support: Answer and manage inbound and outbound calls, including outreach efforts to increase dues revenue.
- Customer Inquiry Management: Respond to and manage member inquiries via the Zendesk ticketing system (a plus if experienced).
- Technical Support: Assist members with navigating our learning management system (LMS) and association-related database (Personify).
- Administrative Tasks: Perform data entry and utilize MS Office products efficiently.
- Multitasking & Organization: Balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent communication skills – enjoys engaging with customers over the phone.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Experience with Zendesk (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and proactively address member concerns.
- Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule & Onsite Requirement:
- This role will require onsite work 3 days per week for the first 2–3 months. One of these required days will be Wednesday ; the remaining days will be determined.
- Potential for remote flexibility after the initial training period.
