Senior Associate Attorney Overview:
Masis Professional Group is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney for a highly reputable and very well established law firm in the Los Angeles, CA area. The ideal candidate will bring a strong litigation background and ideally possess experience in professional liability . This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility of both remote and on-site work. If you have an existing book of business , that’s a major plus, and compensation can be adjusted accordingly.
Senior Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation matters, primarily involving professional liability claims and disputes.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients and senior management on matters related to professional liability, risk management, and business operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts , settlement agreements, and other legal documents related to litigation.
- Manage all aspects of litigation from initial case assessment to trial preparation and resolution.
- Handle complex legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.
- Ensure clients are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to professional liability and industry-specific standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while seeking opportunities to develop new business.
- Collaborate with other senior attorneys and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Senior Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school in the state of CA
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in litigation, ideally with a focus on professional liability .
- Proven track record of handling complex legal cases from start to finish.
- Experience representing professionals (such as doctors, architects, engineers, or other service providers ) in professional liability matters is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- A book of business is a plus but not required; compensation will be adjusted for candidates with an established client base.
