Position: Industrial Painter

Location: Falconer, NY

Pay: $24 - $28/Hour

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team in Falconer, NY. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paints and coatings, ensuring the highest quality finishes, and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:

• Mix and apply paints/coatings as required for various projects.
• Clean surfaces prior to applying paint to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Maintain technical equipment and ensure that all tools are in proper working order.
• Safely dispose of chemical waste according to environmental and safety guidelines.
• Adhere to high safety standards throughout all tasks.
• Use different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
• Utilize special safety equipment, including painting goggles, to ensure personal safety.
• Measure the viscosity of the paint using viscosity cups and check thickness using gauges.
• Remove previous paint surfaces using masking or chemical rinses.
• Paint small items and perform touch-up work as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production painting environment.
• Proficiency in painting a variety of surface types.
• Strong understanding and experience with technical machinery.
• Physical strength to operate machinery and perform the tasks required.
• Excellent attention to detail, dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
