SUMMARY:The IT Procurement Systems Team Lead manages a team of Business Analysts and works with stakeholders, business leaders and end users on IT related projects & initiatives in support of enterprise applications and business processes. This individual is expected to prioritize work for direct reports, lead team meetings and provide direction for the team of Business Analysts that support enterprise applications. This role involves directly monitoring, developing, designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise applications with a primary focus on SAP Ariba, SAP Concur & Agiloft. This person will also facilitate meetings to discuss end user requirements, project status updates, issues, planning, training, and/or operational needs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate adaptability, enthusiasm, and proficiency in acquiring new application and technical expertise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:- Partner with stakeholders, business leaders and customers across the organization to implement innovative solutions to business-critical challenges.
- Clarify and deepen the understanding of business processes, pain points, business needs, and desires of stakeholders.
- Manage multiple complex, high priority projects simultaneously with a high level of quality and accuracy.
- Act as a liaison between business leaders and IT to communicate priorities, while managing functional and technical requirements for support and projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, document and support solutions in new and existing finance enterprise applications
- Independently review existing or emerging technologies as possible solutions to address highly complex business challenges and evolving business needs to recommend solutions that drive innovation and business value.
- Build and maintain relationships with application software and service suppliers, engaging them for service when appropriate and managing their efforts when they are engaged.
- Lead and continually identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies in business processes and systems.
- Support, manage, deploy, and communicate enterprise application upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance.
- Provide end user support and training for enterprise financial applications.
- Identify and resolve end user gaps in application use skills and business process understanding.
- Create and maintain end-user training documentation, technical guides, user acceptance testing scripts and project status updates.
- Mentor team members, ensure that they are properly trained in all aspects of the Corporate IT Business Relationship Management team.
- Coach team members to take ownership of their development, address substandard work or work that does not meet company expectations or goals
- Prioritize and assign tasks, tickets, project work to Corporate IT Business Relationship Management Procurement team
REGULATORY Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an extensive background check to obtain a license.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE- Experience in SAP Ariba Procure to Pay solution
- Ability to lead and facilitate project discussions with all levels of the business
- Proven success in implementing enterprise applications
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously according to agreed upon schedules and budgets
- Support a 24/7 365 information systems environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Lean, process mapping, and value mapping a plus
- Obtain and retain racing and gaming licenses as required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
