Delivery Helper
Accountabilities
- Prepare material for distribution and other entities
- Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
- Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
- Meeting delivery deadline
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
Requirements / Qualifications: - Education: None
- Experience: None Required
- License or Certification: Valid Driver's License in the state of Texas Required
- Must be 21 Years of age
- Be able to lift 30-75 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Long periods of standing/sitting at a time
- Works with urgency and purpose to deliver quality products.
