Randstad is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electronic Quality Technician for our client in East Setauket, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components and assemblies through thorough testing, inspection, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has a technical background in electronics, experience in quality control processes, and First Article Inspection (FAI). Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or testing role within the electronics industry.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and knowledge of FAI documentation processes.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other relevant equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and other quality management systems is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and functional tests on electronic assemblies, components, and products.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) to ensure products meet design and manufacturing specifications before mass production.
• Utilize tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment to ensure product quality.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify defects or non-conformance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications .
• Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and quality control documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Assist in calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
