Responsibilities:

1. Provide support, operation and maintenance activities relating to SaskPower’s SAP systems and other related applications.
2. Design, develop and implement customizations in accordance with SaskPower.
3. Provide leadership in the development of new SAP solutions.
4. Perform batch job management including scheduling, monitoring and efficiency.

Deliverables/Quality of Service:

1. Support of SAP development.
2. Assess and resolve impact of applying vendor patches, upgrades, releases on custom code.
3. Batch job scheduling and monitoring using defined technical tools.
4. Quality Assurance.
5. Documentation of RICEFW (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and work-flow).
6. Development Environment and Version control.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education & Certifications:

1. Post-secondary education in computer technology (BSc, MSc).

General:

1. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an ABAP/J2EE/WebDynpro/Fiori/Gateway/HANA Studio Developer with ABAP certification and knowledge of object-oriented programming with practical experience in supporting SAP development.
2. Experience with SAP Solution Manager for managing custom code and Change Management (ChaRM).
3. Experience with SAP partner products, including Cideon Product Suite for AutoCad integration, Redwood, Output Management, OpenText document storage, etc. are beneficial.
4. Process Orchestration (SAP PO) for managing data exchange.
5. One full life cycle SAP project implementation preferred.
6. Experience in design and development of corporate systems.
7. Experience in a language with an integrated data dictionary.
8. Experience in documentation of code.
9. Aware of new developments and trends.
