Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Guidewire Integration Configuration Lead for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
You will help customers optimize their use of cloud resources as part of a balanced IT delivery portfolio. You will be engaged in various cloud commitments and customer projects covering the entire lifecycle, from proposal/justification to project design and implementation.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures that meet business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop cloud solutions that align with business goals and promote sustainability (GreenOps).
Evaluate cloud technologies and services to recommend best practices and solutions to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using leading platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, and guidelines for cloud architecture.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Stay updated on technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve our cloud offerings.
Work closely with customers, partners, and other business units to develop and implement innovative and competitive solutions/projects for new and existing customers by leveraging your previous experience in implementing cloud solutions.
Required Skills Experience in producing highly available cloud infrastructure solutions for large organizations.
Solid knowledge of the features and capabilities of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Good understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience in creating greenfield solutions and implementing landing zones according to best practices.
Experience in quickly assessing technical feasibility and developing proposals for migrating workloads to AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Knowledge of financial operations (FinOps) practices and tools for optimizing and managing cloud costs.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are advantageous.
Experience with network integration using AWS Direct Connect or Azure Express Route, as well as network design (WAN/LAN/firewalls).
Understanding of hybrid cloud solutions and experience in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
