With 20 years of industry expertise and a commitment to excellence, we welcome individuals who are eager to contribute to their mission of delivering top-quality paper products.Job Description:As a Machine Operator with our client, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of machinery used in converting large paper rolls into smaller rolls or sheets, customized to meet their clients' specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and maintain converting machineryEnsure high-quality production output according to customer requirementsReview work orders to determine product specificationsMaintain efficiency in quantity and quality of productionHandle raw materials and finished products with carePerform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinesUtilize forklifts to load/unload machines and move products as neededWorking hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Previous experience in the paper industry (nice to have)ForkliftCommunicationEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Qualifications:Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in manufacturingHigh School Diploma or EquivalentExperience with forklift operationBasic computer skills for data entryAbility to read and comprehend instructionsStrong mathematical skills for measurements and calculationsProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyPhysical Demands:Ability to stand for extended periodsManual dexterity and ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environmentWillingness to work occasional Fridays based on production needsJoin our client and become a part of their dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional paper solutions to their clients.Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
