National Bank is ramping up its cultural, organizational, and technological transformation. We’re in the process of an Agile and DevOps shift involving multidisciplinary and autonomous teams, where teamwork is the key to our success. We’re looking for talent as a Senior Functional Analyst, IT Delivery, Cybercrimes to understand complex technology ecosystems and business needs while delivering value and working on modern technologies.
Your job:
Act as a senior IT expert analyst on technology aligned with our IT targets (API, Rest, Kafka, Camunda, etc.).
Understand and challenge business needs and translate them into functional requirements while ensuring traceability.
In connection with the agile methodology, draft detailed functional analyses (in line with business needs and the architecture solution), validate them with the business partners, explain them to developers, and ensure that they're being implemented properly.
Communicate with business partners during the various development phases.
Advise partners by offering alternative solutions and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the existing systems.
Carry out functional tests and help the testing team to develop and complete acceptance testing of the developed solutions.
Diagnose, carry out, coordinate, and solve problems to ensure that solutions run smoothly.
Adapt to constantly evolving technologies and be curious and bold when suggesting new ideas for solutions.
Analyze the impacts on solutions and suggest action plans for making adjustments.
Have in-depth knowledge of the IT ecosystem and understand the interrelations.
Your team:
The IT team is made up of more than 2,300 proactive, collaborative experts who work with agility to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology, and continuously improve our processes. This position reports to the Manager, Asset Management, IT Delivery, Cybercrimes. You’ll actively contribute to projects on an experienced and dedicated team.

Prerequisites:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience as a business, functional, IT, and application analyst in a complex organization.
Experience with delivery in Agile mode.
Experience producing detailed and relevant user stories during Agile projects.
Practical knowledge of and experience with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of and practical experience in quality assurance testing.
Experience in a banking environment, an asset.
Languages:
Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
