Job Title: Customer Service Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Chicago, IL

Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Pay: $21-23/hour (Contract)

Contract length : 2-3 months, potential to go permanent

Addison Group is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our client, an innovative company dedicated to creating nutritious snacks that support a healthy lifestyle. Known for their dynamic culture.

Job Description:

The Customer Service Specialist will support the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring seamless customer experiences and effective supply chain management. In this hybrid role, you'll work two days a week on-site and partner closely with logistics, warehousing, and transportation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the order lifecycle, from initial entry through delivery, ensuring accurate pricing, lead times, and inventory availability.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints, credits, and deductions efficiently.
  • Support smooth order fulfillment and on-time deliveries by closely coordinating with Warehousing & Logistics teams.
  • Communicate proactively with customers on service levels, inventory risks, and any necessary action plans.
  • Maintain accurate records within ERP systems and update orders as needed.
  • Meet customer supply chain KPIs, focusing on cost-effective processes to optimize Fill Rate, On-Time Pickup, and Deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles, ideally within Customer Service, Inventory, or Supply Chain.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes, including production, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (option to work full Fridays if preferred)
  • Onsite/Remote : Onsite twice a week
  • Start Date: Targeted for early November
  • Background Check: Required prior to start
