WHAT YOU WILL DO This position supports the Maintenance Team with general maintenance, repair and facilities set-up at the Lake Forest and Rancho Capistrano campus properties.
- Perform general and routine maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance foreman.
- Conduct and perform preventive, routine, and predictive maintenance of all campus repairs.
- Repair, replace, and perform basic upgrades of internal and external building construction, including painting, carpentry, floor refinishing, and all basic maintenance repairs.
- Develop and maintain facility/grounds standards for various areas of the property.
- Responsible for outside facilities work in tandem with the Facilities and Logistics teams, including pressure washing, cobweb dusting, cleaning railings, benches, outside furniture, porch lights, buildings, etc., in preparation for conferences, retreats, and meetings. Ensure parking lots and sidewalks are free of litter and debris. Inside work includes any project-based work as defined.
Additional Duties
- Troubleshoot and reset lighting control panels, circuit breaker panels and GFI circuits.
- Troubleshoot and reset HVAC controls, produce outage reports and follow up with HVAC team to ensure future functionality.
- Assist with weekend pool care and general equipment maintenance as needed.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE - Some professional experience in a maintenance or construction trade is required.
- Must have basic construction, mechanical, and electrical skills.
- Must be familiar with safe working practices.
- Must have a valid California driver's license.

Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will be provided at a range of $20-$21.50 per hour. We will provide a pay rate that is within our salary structure and that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job.
