Industrial Maintenance Mechanic We are seeking experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanics for an Aluminum Extrusion company in Struthers.
In this position, you will perform maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery for an aluminum extruder with extremely broad and unique capabilities. The position offers an excellent work environment and a competitive wage and benefit package.
Pay: - Starts at $26.00/hour, based on experience
- Add an additional $6.25/hour after company-paid training and certification
Shift: - Evening/Night shift; expected 48 hours per week
Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and repair machines and equipment, detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Keep the machines, mechanical equipment and the structure running during production
- Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery and remove any scrap material
- Order replacement parts, selecting vendor, research for part prices/availability, manufacturer's specifications, warranty status for cost-effective investment
Minimum Requirements: - Five years general maintenance experience trouble shooting equipment in a manufacturing setting preferred, three years maintenance experience minimum
- Three years of experience with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, electronics preferred.
- Previous mechanic experience working in an extrusion facility and with an electrostatic paint line is preferred.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Candidates must have the ability to be flexible and work weekends.
