Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Molding Operator. The core hours are 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.nnWhat you’ll do:nnThis position is responsible for the operation of injection molding machines. The incumbent will also provide manufacturing support to every aspect of the injection molding operation, including, but not limited to, inspecting, sorting, verifying, and labeling of injection molding parts.nnOperate injection molding machines, to include horizontal and rotary presses.nnInspect molded parts and identify quality defects such as underfill and flash.nnUse hand tools such as side cutters, box cutters, and de-flashing tools.nnPerform hourly quality inspections and document results.nnUse scales to weigh containers ensuring proper count of molded parts per container.nnUse a resource management system (SAP) to create shipping labels for molded parts.nnUse precision gauges and calipers to measure molded parts.nnPerform 5S procedures and uses sound judgment to ensure a hazard-free production area and safe operation of molding presses.nnReport irregularities or equipment malfunctions to team lead/supervisor.nnMonitor resin levels in dryer and exchange regrind barrels.nnObserve and enforce proper PPE wear and adherence to all plant safety rules and policies.nnPerform other related duties as requirednnQualifications:nnBasic (Required) Qualifications:nnMust be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorshipnnMust have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionnnKnowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.nnThis position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
