Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another. Loads and unloads vehicles. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Requires appropriate license.nnThis role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.nnThis is a contingent position based upon contract award.nnWhat You’ll DonnAs Truck Driver – Tractor Trailer, you will:nnReceive and Follow Directions: Report to the Foreman or General Foreman to receive assignments, instructions, and directions for daily activities.nnPlan Work Activities: Read and interpret provided instructions and documentation to effectively plan and organize work activities.nnOperate Company Vehicles: Safely operate company vehicles with a capacity of up to 30 tons to transport materials, tools, and equipment between work locations, supporting construction and maintenance activities.nnMaterials Transfer: Drive between warehouses to deliver operating materials and supplies, ensuring that items are transported safely and efficiently.nnLoad and Unload Vehicles: Manage the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring that all cargo is secure during transit and handled safely upon arrival.nnAdhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly observe all safety rules and procedures, including the use of required personal safety equipment to maintain a safe work environment.nnMaintain Vehicle and Equipment: Ensure that all operated vehicles and equipment are maintained in good working condition, reporting any issues to supervisors as necessary.nnPerform Directed Duties: Complete additional duties and activities as directed by supervisors, which may vary according to specific job site requirements.nnDocument Activities: Keep accurate records of all logistics and transport activities, including details of routes taken, materials transported, and time schedules, to support efficient operations and reporting.nnOther duties as requirednnQualifications:nnMinimum 2 years of Truck driver-Tractor trailer experience managing similar USG projects of size, scope and complexity, preferably with NRO experience to adequately understand mission needs across the project.nnHigh School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.nnHold and maintain the appropriate license necessary for operating large vehicles, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.nnProven experience in leading and managing a team of information and telecommunication management professionals.nnAbility to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs.nnAbility to maximize services and capabilities, provisioned as a service.nnAbility to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.nnPreferred Qualifications:nn5+ years of Truck driver-Tractor trailer experience managing similar USG projects of size, scope and complexity, preferably with NRO experience to adequately understand mission needs across the project.nnClearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.nnBasic Compensation:nn$25,64 - $28.47 per hournnThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.nnAdditional Compensation:nnKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
