Keffer Hirschauer LLP is an Indianapolis-based law firm, which focuses on criminal defense, expungement, family law, Title IX, and professional licensure defense, as well as related ancillary practice areas. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorneys to join our team. Of counsel and hybrid work opportunities are also available.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Assist in the development of case strategies and legal arguments.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and guidance.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters.
• Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting practice areas.
• Take on an active litigation caseload of both family law and criminal defense matters as well as to appear in court hearings as required.
• A pleading and motion practice will be expected as well as a willingness to travel throughout the state.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana and in good standing
• 1-5 years of experience in any of the following fields: criminal defense, family law, Title IX, professional licensure, as well as related ancillary practice areas.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.
