Lumicity is currently partnered with an exciting Medical Device company operating in the Bay Area who are looking to hire an R&D Engineer on a temp-to-hire basis.

Initial 6-month contract, with conversion. 40 hours per week, and it will be an on-site position .

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in the hands-on prototyping and development of devices.
• Perform design verification and validation testing, as well as develop and validate test methods and processes with minimal oversight.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including manufacturing instructions, test methods, drawings, protocols, and reports to support design control processes.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and promptly address project management requirements.

Requirements

• BS in a relevant engineering discipline. (Advanced degree is a plus).
• 4+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry.
• Previous experience working on catheter-based technologies. (Interventional cardiovascular or peripheral vascular space preferred).
