Maintenance Manager

ISC’s team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with a medium-size, global Chemical company to identify an experienced and innovative Maintenance Manager. They are located about 50 miles from Philadelphia city center.


The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising the Maintenance and Facilities team, ensure safe operations of all facilities systems, establish and oversee preventative maintenance, and diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair.

Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred
  • 10+ years of maintenance experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical maintenance skills
  • Broad mechanical and troubleshooting background
  • Experience in a batch manufacturing environment
  • CMMS knowledge
  • Positive, adaptable, composed, and innovative leader and mentor with a strong desire to grow!

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage capital budget and complete projects
  • Main liaison between Engineering Manager, Automation Engineers, and Project Managers for all projects
  • Serve as SME for other Engineers and Technicians, specifically with PLC and electrical troubleshooting
  • Manage day to day maintenance activities, while mentoring and leading the team
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and equipment calibration programs
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards to improve safety, quality, and productivity
  • Manage KPIs
  • Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and eliminating hazards
  • Develop and coach direct reports, develop a sense of accountability, and must be open to allow employees ideas to be heard, while setting a positive example
