My client, a large public manufacturing company based in Cleveland, seeks a strategic, innovative thinking Corporate Counsel attorney to join their collaborative legal team. In addition to a JD from an accredited law school and licensure in at least one jurisdiction, this position requires 4-7 years of contract-related experience (review, drafting, negotiating) in a law firm and/or in house setting. In addition to handling all general contract and software licensing agreement related matters, this role assists in managing outside counsel, provides guidance on regulatory and compliance matters, and assists in M&A activities, among other things. The position requires 3 days a week in the office and involves minimal travel throughout the year. The role is open due to an internal promotion, and is a great way to get in at a junior level of a talented legal team that supports promotion from within.
