Our client, an advanced R&D division of a global fintech firm, has recently launched an ML-powered fraud risk management (FRM) platform designed for fintechs, banks, and eCommerce marketplaces with high transaction volumes. This product was developed from scratch at its innovation lab due to existing fraud management systems not being fast enough or robust enough to handle the hundreds of millions of decisions required each day by the parent company.

An ideal candidate would be someone that is an ace problem solver and a learner at heart. They should have a high degree of comfort working with large-scale systems. Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software and core platform.
2. Build common platforms to support different business vertical application systems.
3. Adopt problem-solving as a way of life – always go to the root cause!

Must Have Skills:

1. Solid foundation in designing, implementing and maintaining a large-scale distributed system (e.g. with microservice architecture).
2. Experience in developing distributed platform systems such as Messaging Platforms, Pub/Sub Systems, Databases, Distributed Computing Frameworks, and Schedulers.
3. Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, Scala, or Go.
4. NoSQL experience.
5. AWS experience.
6. Deep understanding of concurrency, distributed computing, large-scale system, messaging, and algorithm.
7. Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent experience in software development.
