Master Data Business Analyst

We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Master Data Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the needs of the credit, master data, contact, and order fulfillment with IT teams, ensuring that process changes and technical solutions align with business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, the legal structure of trade customers, and technical systems, the ability to translate business requirements into process and technical specifications, and the ability to work closely with development teams to implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and document business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Solution Design: Work closely with development teams to design and document technical solutions, including creating process l specifications, data models, and system workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, technical constraints, and project progress.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support business needs, including data mapping, data modeling, and identifying data quality issues. Identify master data inconsistencies and use financial and contractual data to determine accurate customer information.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with both business and technical teams to implement practical solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial data business analysis in ERP systems or similar roles.
- Proven experience in gathering and translating business and technical requirements.
- Experience working with core enterprise process improvement with system enhancements.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce.com, Google, SmartSheet.
- Familiarity with lean process improvement and the focus of the Order to Cash process steps).
- Experience with technical tools and platforms relevant to the industry (e.g., ERP systems, CRM systems, cloud platforms).
- Business Skills:
- Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to daily operations, as well as technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving abilities.
